DON'T LIVE IN REGRET

Stop living in regret, it's not over yet; you're not your mistake. The most amazing things in life tend to happen right at the moment you're about to give up; just when the caterpillar thought the world was over, it became a butterfly. It's never too late to be who God has designed you to be. As long as you keep waking up in the morning, it is proof positive that God isn't through with you yet. You may not be able to control every situation and its outcome but you can control your attitude and how you deal with it. Always remember that your present situation is not your final destination; your best is yet to come! Don’t give up because things are difficult; push yourself more! One bad chapter doesn't mean your story is over.

You don't even have to feel guilty about removing toxic people from your life. It doesn't matter whether someone is a relative, romantic interest, employer, childhood friend, or a new acquaintance - you don't have to make room for people who cause you pain or makes you feel small. It's one thing if a person owns up to their behavior and makes an effort to change. But if a person disregards your feelings, ignores your boundaries, and "continues" to treat you in a harmful way, they need to go. When you spend your life waiting on someone to endorse your gifts or celebrate your dream, you will end up living for artificial affirmation. Start believing yourself what you hope others believe.

“Rejoice with those who rejoice [sharing others’ joy], and weep with those who weep [sharing others’ grief]. Live in harmony with one another; do not be haughty [conceited, self-important, exclusive], but associate with humble people [those with a realistic self-view].
